HoneyKats/02
are a fast-paced, powerful, "In your face" all woman
dance group. Multicultural, interdisciplinary and innovative, the
HoneyKats deliver outstanding original choreography performances
in hip-hop, and street jazz. We bring these styles of dancing originating
from the streets to a professional platform delivered with higher
sophistication. We are professionally trained in hip-hop, jazz,
modern, ballet, salsa, break dancing and musical theater. The HoneyKats
are strong and bold and have an appetite to succeed.
Since
it's inception in June 2001, the HoneyKats have finished a 'promotional
reel' they have performed at club venues and have been featured in
the pop group ID's new music video 'Let's Play'. Live venues:

the TSN Sports Celebrity Festivals for the Special Olympics
in Canada Dec 2001, McMaster's Urban Dance Competition
Feb 2002, Thrive! March 2002, and a television broadcast on
Rogers TV Mississauga on SportsZone Mar 2002- featuring a live
interview with Katarina Rajkovic on dance instruction, Dance Kraze
Productions and the HoneyKats. Dance Kraze Productions presented the
HoneyKats Gala @ the Betty Oliphant Theatre May 2002, they
danced for Rogers Mississauga SportsZone @ Square One in celebration
of World Cup June 2002. The Honey Kats opened for the Special
Olympics North America In Aug 2002 @ the Royal York. The HoneyKats
were featured dancers for
Rue-Morgue Magazine Oct 2002, danced @ Inside Out Productions
the Just Jazz Workshop showcase Nov 2002. The Weekenders Awards Showcase
Feb 2003, Motionball
