Stephanie Delaurier
Stephanie started dancing at the age of 7 in her small hometown of Iroquois Falls, Ontario where she trained for several years in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theatre at the Nancy Wasilik School of Dance as a competitive dancer. She took her dancing career to the next step when she was accepted to Sudbury Secondary School as a Dance Major.
Stephanie graduated from the Performing Arts Program at Sudbury Secondary with numerous awards including the “Overall Dance” and “Choreography Award” and the “Excellence in Dance Performance Bursary”. Taking yet another step further, Stephanie moved to Toronto when she was accepted into the Commercial Dance Studies Program at George Brown College.
Stephanie met Katarina, Director of Dance Kraze Productions and Founder of the Honeykats, when she began her hip hop classes at George Brown College. She was thrilled to join the Honeykats in their summer season of 2006 and since then has performed at Canada Day Celebrations (Harbourfront Centre 2006), the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (fFida fundraiser 2006), fFida Dance Festival (2006), Dance Ontario 2007 (2007) and had the privilege of dancing under the direction of Annie Wood in Company Verve (2007).
Upon graduating from the Commercial Dance Program at George Brown College, she took her first cruise ship contract on the Infinity with Celebrity Cruises and travelled up and down the West Coast of Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Hawaii. Stephanie is thrilled to be back in Toronto and continues to dance with the Honeykats and also assists Katarina with teaching her Dance Kraze Productions Open Hip Hop Classes.
